why did I know shc was gonna start this thread?

anyway, I personally though OzIdol 6 was the worst season of them all (worse than AI8), but Wes and Sophie <3 and Wes' Black & White pretty much sealed his fate as the winner.

I think most of us mostly just watch performances on Youtube. It's not like AI where you watch live on TV and you have to wade through all the bullshit. Commercials, judges comments, pre-performance packages etc.

No, I think AI8 will do better, at least less excruciating.

OZI6 MJ's week was annoyingly terrible.
1. Teale exactly copied Cook's vocal arrangement and failed
2. Mark's constant camera fucking throughout the performance
3. I liked Chrislyn, but the vocal was grotesque on this thriller performance
4. Luke's defacating and old fart voice
5. Wes's performance completely relying on his dance moves, plain vocal

OzI6 had a really good group and then everything went to hell in a hand basket and they ended up with this Top 5 and Luke fucking Dickens in the Top 2. Laughable.

I stopped watching when Sophie went but yeah MJ night wasn't so bad and as I said I'm quite sure even the ridiculousness that is Chrislyn doing "Thriller" will look amazing in comparison to what this Top 13 offer up.

OzI6 is one of the worst idol shows ever, but their MJ night was actually pretty good... mostly because Wes totally pulled that performance out of his ass and it was so good.

Saddest part about this is I disliked 3 of the people in this Top 2, my favourite was eliminated 2 weeks prior and my favourite left Teale attempted Chris Cornell's version of "Billie Jean" and paled in comparison to Cook and I'm sure these 5 performance will still be better than anything anyone in this Top 13 does this week.

Theme recycling hate.

As has been mentioned in other threads look forward to AI8 also reusing OZIdol 6's ABBA week.

Here goes American Idol recycling theme weeks again. This Top 13 sucks so bad and this is just such a ridiculous theme for them. It's bound to be a hot fucking mess. This thread can also serve for general bitching about the shitty performances and the crappiness of theme.

In any case I'm sure the performances on MJ week of the most recent season of Australian Idol will be prove to be miles better than the AI8 performances and just think we have to endure 13 of them.
