My breast didn't hurt till around 3.5 weeks. But I knew I was pregnant cause I had that, I'm getting period cramps when I just came off my period feeling, then turned to my husband and said, "Good job babe, your swimmers made it!" My friend is the head of the lab over here and he ran a blood test every week, it came back positive right before I missed my period.

I'm not kidding when I say I knew (or was 99% sure) within a week. China was planned. No b/c, waited for ovulation time, etc. A few days after we practiced baby-making, my boobs hurt like a mofo. Even my clothes rubbing against them made me cringe.

Yes, and I knew 2 days after sex, with all of mine. I'm very sensitive. But with implantation and even getting a positive on a QUANT blood test would take at least 2 weeks.

And lucky for her if she ovulated just that night or the next morning.

I'm not trying to argue... I'm just saying.

Besides, she seemed really upset, like she knew she had to try...

BTW - If kate and jack did the deed the night before- it wouldnt take 2 weeks to be pregnant (trust me - 7 kids - i would know :)- She could concieve right away...
But - I doubt that's in the storyline- although I dont think it'll matter anyway even if they added it - The whole love triangle thing is annoying....

Yeah, that's what I was thinking the other night. I remember reading way back when, they said that his character was supposed to die in the first episode, but then kept him... now they could go back and do that... sad!

It would be creepy because of how it all came about. Kate laying on his bed like a zombie, clearly not in her right mind (her running away the next day seems to give the impression she knew it was a mistake) and then get purposefully getting pregnant (to replace another child) without Jack's consent to it. Then jumping back to Sawyer... Isn't that creepy?

Oh i see stacy, thats a good explanantion. You are saying maybe hes worried that the baby by Jack with Kate would put the "love triangle" back to the forefront of the show again..and thus be creepy and ruin it?

I can kinda see that worry, but honestly...i think the love triangle would have been there just as much for the rest of the season without Kate getting pregnant. So its STILL and irrational fear by this guy.

If anything, Kate being pregnant...

There's so much more to the show than the love triangle.... I don't know that it would 'ruin' the show, but it would definitely add a lot to that side story and might take away from the other things that make the show so great.

Edit: The writers are EXTREMELY talented, so I bet they can do it without making it chick-flicky....If so, it would be another awesome connection the show is so famous for.

What's stupid about it? There are the "Jaters" out there, ya know? And more than you'd know from reading Sucks. If Kate did the deed hoping to get pregnant, that would make sense. She kinda sorta lost Aaron. And as someone else posted, it would be kinda cool IMO for Christian to have two grandchildren born on the island.
If ya think it's creepy because Kate would be pregnant by Jack but end up with Sawyer, uhh who cares? I wouldn't be surprised by that. I kinda...
