regardless, dude needs some serious speech lessons. when they read off their votes for the "vote someone out of your tribe now" moment at the beginning, jerry muttered something like:

"blaun gurr in blue stiped bouse - sara."

no thanks. let this guy take a seat on the jury bench, and don't overedit him because we don't need another goddamned overrated dude winning the viewer's choice $100k.

Dude does a tour in Afghanistan, comes home for a year and then goes out on Survivor in the Brazilian highlands? I've gotta give dude props.

Not only that, but I've heard him mention that he was a First Sergent in the Army in private confessionals, but I never once heard it mentioned in and around his tribe. Perhaps he's not one to brag and boast about his military service and only talks about it if asked.

Love him. He was my pre-season favorite. A nice guy who doesn't have a problem lying, manipulating etc in this game and knows how to get inside of peoples HEEEAAADS is to good.
Just hope he gets some more airtime in the future! lol

One of my biggest surprises was Jerry turning out exactly how I was expecting him pre-game, even back when I had only read his bio.

The guy isn't complicated at all, just relaxed and mellow and going with the flow. Watch him win the million without even trying just because no one else notices him casually coasting his way to the end. They'll see him in the F3, go "Oh yeah, that Jerry's a pretty cool guy, why not give him a vote over those douchebags," then...

Trying to be unique from the usual Love/Hate stuff.

But you gotta love how laid back the guy is. Big military dude, led a bunch of guys in Afghanistan, and he's just sitting back and enjoying it all. You gotta love someone who's so easy-going and just goes with the flow, especially considering what he's done outside the show.

Here's hoping the guy goes far.
