I really ended up disliking Gabon. The four-episode stretch where the Onions were taken out was fantastic, but I really thought the season took a dive after that. I hated Marcus, Charlie and especially Corinne, but almost everyone else was either strategically inept or didn't care about strategy to begin with. The editing was actually pretty good, with the exception of Susie getting the complete shaft after she came within one vote of winning the game. Just a season that played out...

Gabon was the best Survivor season in years, good to see there are others out there who liked more than Micronesia. Both were good for different reasons, but Gabon was such a clusterfuck the entire way through with everyone except Jacquie contributing in some form. They didn't even need idols to make it entertaining. Although the fake ones were kind of nice to see play out, the season as a whole was awesome without some twist, the way Survivor should be. This is unlike Micronesia where...

Survivor: Micronesia

I hated the Black Widow brigade, so that made it hard to like the season...cause once Erik was gone I had no one to root for. But post merge it was a ton of fun with all the idol trickery. Far better than the idol...

Being that the year is coming to a close, I figured this was a good idea. The best and brightest of the year that was. I shall rank the nominees for each category, and it will be epic. I tried my best to remember every show I watched in the past year, i'm sure i'm missing a few. If any of you can think of them, please tell me and i'll add them to the list.
