The producers wanted to name it without having to use weird names in the future (Africa, Gabon), so they called it by...

the gradients make it look disgusting, i'm a professional artist and I know when something looks bad and I too hate most of the fan logos.

I disagree with the people in this thread. I am an art student and I love the logo. I however hate most of the fan-made logos in this thread. That is all.

This was the biggest I could find. There are super-sized logos from seasons 1-11 but after that there aren't many available.

At least they toned down everything after how ugly the Fiji and China logos were. And nothing feels out of place here, unlike the Marquesas tiki. But it still sucks.
