Instead of Sugar, if someone really did quit, I'm thinking it would be Matty (Trust Fund Baby). Maybe he felt bad to have the chance of a million dollar over people who have gone through a hard life like Susie and Sugar.

susie suddenly becomes OTTP and wins the whole jury over with an emotional jury speech with sad life details thrown in. this prompts the onions to change their minds, making susie the winner of survivor gabon :)

sugar wouldn't quit, possibly urging people to vote her out at tribal perhaps.

can someone have the immunity necklace, but opt to get rid of it? like incinerate in the fire. i'd want that to happen. would be random of course.

But, is it too obvious that Ken was in the middle of all the survivors in the finale promo? Or... just coincidence?

"The whole clip is him all out on his own, struggling to overcome" describes the position he is in now? He succeeded then and made sure we knew it by flashing "success", so why does it mean he doesn't succeed now? I don't see how you connect future failure in that scene.

I took the scene as being more about Ken creating his own problems than about accomplishments. He finally managed to get through; this when no one else was around....

That doesn't make sense. How does it show "All the work he's done, or thinks he's done, and he undoes all of it right before the end." especially with the word success at the end?

The whole clip is him all out on his own, struggling to overcome. The "success" part may not even have any meaning, or could be a joke. He comes very close to the end game, to winning, to this success, only to overscheme and lose his chance at the last...

I don't mind a player winning if I respect their game, even if they annoy me. I just don't think Ken has played a good game (lots of luck followed by lots of squandering that luck away), and I don't think the editing has presented him as having played a good game. They have had many chances to showcase his game in a positive way, or his relationships, but they never did. Even his feelings on Crystal were never built up. The relationship we saw in the most depth from his POV was...

Is it possible you are allowing your own personal dislikes of Kenny's game to cloud your judgement? (not trying to be an asshole)

In many episodes this season the recap has strongly mentioned Kenny, he's up there on the confessional count, and he's been key to quite a few boots. He had a direct hand in sending Ace out, getting Susie to flip on Marcus, and the Charlie blindside with Sugar.

I think going back to the beginning the Michelle thing can be overlooked....

That's like saying Bob has to win because of the shot of him on the mountain.

His edit took a hit in this past episode but I don't think he's done, and I think he wins. Negative people who scheme and lie can win, look at Parvati and Todd dominating their respective juries.

Todd and Parvati were both shown as being business. Yes they sometimes made bitchy remarks, but they were about strategy.
