It may have been an 18 hour pit stop. Whatever the length of the pit stop, it's not that big of a deal. They have to follow all the official rules and each team would have waited the right amount of time, no matter how long the pit stop was.

But there was recently a 24 hour pit-stop in one of the legs of TAR13 and they still said... "First to arrive and will depart at X:XX".

I noticed as well, figured it was a case of a 24 hour pitstop instead of 12 hour and they didn't want to have to explain that.
