Because it was literally eat or be eaten back in the day. Also, people have really only started eating crappy over the past fifty years or so. Give it some time.

I like the foods which I recommend only low calories and average sugar. I don't like salty foods which contains high sodium and high cholesterol.

I'm just going through my refrigerator and pantry thinking about this question: Hmmmm, steak, salmon, tuna, turkey, apples, spinach, asparagus, carrots, tangerines, brown rice, onions, blueberries, watermelon, red peppers, avocados, walnuts, bananas . . .

Yup, healthy food sure does taste nasty.
