Hidden Immunity Idol is fine, but I hope they don't have Exile Island anymore. Do it like Guatemala/China where the HII is at camp.

That would be interesting if they did it in more of a sneaky way then just not having it and lying to the castaways.

Maybe have two seperate idols and with both give a little parchment in a glass tube and on a note it says "Do not open until the TC that the HII is used at"

Then at TC before the votes are revealed tell the castaway that they need to bring the parchment in a tube and in one it will say "All votes agaist do not count" and in the other it...

I hope next season, the twist is that at Exile Island, with all the clues and such, there really is NO idol at all. Watch these morons spend days upon days digging and digging and digging, volunteering themselves to go back to exile over and over, people making fake idols galore....

With the hidden immunity idol, it always provides the best episodes.

That's a bit of a stretch. The hidden idol makes for a handful of decent moments each season, but the problem is how even when it doesn't come into play it still eats up a chunk of time each episode. Gabon has actually been pretty good about this, but the three before it weren't (even my beloved China gave it way too much attention from Sherea's boot to James')....

Last night's was the best because the episode as a whole was one of their best ever. Even the trip to Exile Island managed to be an inspiring detour. Plus, the fact that there was so much animosity between people leading up to the payoff of the fake idol really sent things into the stratosphere. Nobody is going to forget Sugar or Crystal's voting rants years down the road.

I hated the Outcast twist when it came on, but I have come to accept it, I can't accept the hidden immunity idol. The Outcast twist, or seperating the casts into male and female tribes, swaps, things like that are ok because they serve what the show is about. The whole game is made up by the producers dude. They can have an idol if they want and I personally welcome that change. The reason there were so many blindsides in Pearl Islands was because of the even more unfair outcast twist so your logic is weird
