After reading the posts here, it occured to me that maybe Marcus, with his white collar job, could not relate to blue collar people because he sees them as a little less than him. Perhaps he thought that, just like at work, he could boss those whose title is beneath him around. A doctor can always boss an orderly around, heck, they can boss other professionals around. I think I have never been happier to see someone voted off the island than I was when this asshole left. Too bad we have to see his sorry ass again and again and again until the season is over. I bet him and Charlie bond a lot at ponderosa. JMO... I have no idea if or when he joins Marcus at LL.

Amen to that.

When the second switch happened, Marcus really played terribly and richly deserved his boot.

And to chalk it all up to Kenny "lacking human compassion" afterward is just plain stupid.

Ace and Marcus are even worse than that douche Joel from last season...at least he was man enough to give credit where it was due and admitted that Cirie had outplayed him.

He failed to reassure Susie of a final 3 pact
He tried to get Crystal to vote out her closest ally expecting her to follow through
He told Crystal about his Kota 6 alliance and that Susie was hated by everyone, allowing Crystal to use this info in swaying Susie

The first tribe switch was not unfair to Kota.

No, Kota had the numbers 8-7 so none of them should have been stuck in the minority 4-3.
Kota member Sugar had the idol and was friends with Jacquie, and she gets exiled so Jacquie is a sitting duck. Then Sugar gets stuck on Fang so the losers have a continued supply of Kotas under their thumb.

I think he should have tried to sweet-talk Susie to make sure she stayed on his side. He could have said that although she may feel like she was being ostracized by the rest of the tribe, it was really more Corinne and Randy - not him - who were behind that. And that he's really tighter with Charlie than anyone...

Marcus probably had Ken pegged as this weak guy who wouldn´t even fight to stay in the game. So in his magnanimous awesomeness, he "generously" told Ken that he would be voted off, thinking he was doing him a favor.

Marcus: I never thought someone would take advantage of compassion the way Ken does. I hope he's just young, I think he's incredibly bright - he has such promise. And yet he sort of uses his diminutive stature to take advantage of people through their compassion.

Perhaps the problem with Kota 6 is that they won so much, they really did not have to play until now whereas Fang has constantly had to play the game.

Or, the fangiest of the remaining players (Matty, Ken, Crystal) are the ones who survived the natural selection process of six tribal councils. They may not look like what we think successful competitors do, but nonetheless, here they are.
