I've always thought Timeline was an underrated story, the weak screenplay didn't do it much justice.

The only book of his not worth reading is State Of Fear. I don't know what the hell got into him.

This news came out of nowhere. I didn't even know he was sick.

I can't say he was a great writer, but I did enjoy Disclosure and of course Jurassic Park. He got really preachy in his more recent books though.

Still sorry to hear about this.
