I watched the last episode partly out of boredom, and partly because in the books, this is where Richard (infamously) kicks the little girl in the teeth.

Unfortunately they wimped out and didn't put that scene in the episode.

So that's probably the last episode of this show I'll be watching. This episode was pretty darn cheesy. I kind of liked the philosophic way they handled the magic and drinking it and how that is good or evil and stuff.
Hated the whole drug addict aspect, I mean I got it but it was sort of hysterical "Oh noz I needs more potions or I will not be able to quest!"

I thought they did a great job with that red headed stepchild character who could read peoples thoughts. I loved how they gave him his own desires and justifications and how he would turn on the hero if he thought he would be fed but didn't necessarily want anyone hurt or anything. I'm enjoying the show but I really have to ignore how many liberties they are taking with staying true to the books. The changes made in the premiere episode (mostly) made sense for a TV series but the last 2 weeks have just had me shaking my head. I have to remind myself that the show is based on the books, it is not a serialized version of them.

I didn't see a thread for this. It's a new syndicated series based on Terry Goodkind's shitty fantasy novels.

It might be good for a few laughs. We need something to fill the void left by Xena and Hercules anyway.
The guy who plays Richard looks like he's 12 years old.
