My kittens are usually up on the bed one on each side of me waiting for me to get up and I better say good morning, ifin I know what is good for me!! This is their Halloween card!!

My bird would climb in bed to wake me up every morning

I'd be worried if I rolled over and accidently crushed my bird to death!

I'm glad I'm not the only one looking for signs of life. I've thought about breaking out a mirror to hold under her nose.

Both my cats are usually waiting by their bowl when I get up, or are there shortly after. I always say good morning and pet them before starting my coffee.

Usually when I wake up, I'm just trying to get the dogs fed fast enough so they don't rip my face off. They're adorable and sweet, but spazzy when it's feeding time. If I ever die inside my house, I bet it would only take them a couple hours to start nibbling on my dead body.

I always greet the cats with "Hey boys.. hungry?" and then I feed them.

Winston is put in the family room to sleep every night. I open the door and he always runs to greet me. He gets the singing greeting.

I sing, "Winston... Winston Wolf!" to the tune of Disco Duck. I also sing.. "HR Pup'n Stuff, always there when things get rough. HR Pup'n Stuff, you can't get a little if you can't get enough." to the tune of HR Puff 'n...

I usually say "whatup cats" or "hey fuckos" as I stumble to the shower.

Sometimes the bad one will get a nod and a terse, "Kevin." The other one usually gets called "sweetie baby" at that time of day.

I say good morning every morning to Starbuck and give him a pet and ask him how he slept. as if he could respond. then he follows me to the shower and tries to get in. then he licks my feet when I get out.

My oldest passed away a week ago (she was 18 1/2 yrs old) but every morning I would wake up with her sleeping on my hip. We would lie there contemplating each other and the morning. She'd purr and I'd grumble. lol

i just noticed i do this. i've always done it. i walk out of my room and there's two cats at the top of the stairs. "hi ginger, hi emma" (shut it, i didn't name em). then i go downstairs, "hi spike". i don't know that it matters to them, i don't know why i do it.
