It's pretty stupid to give Immunity to someone you've lied to, or take the "nice, deserving mom" to the finals when you know she's likable, but both Erik and Colby did those things because they foolishly thought they would look better in front of the Jury because of them. It's dumb logic, but at least it's game-related.
