Mark Your Calendars: Showtime has announced premiere dates for the new seasons of three excellent series. Crazy mamas Edie Falco and Toni Collette are back at it when Nurse Jackie and The United States of Tara return Mar. 22.

Did you know the actor who plays Eddie is the same guy who played Father Intintola on The Sopranos?

I'm guessing Edie may have liked him more than she let on during the making of TS.

The show has me watching it. I think the half hour length keeps the show simpler and more enjoyable, if it were an hour there would be too many subplots, etc. And it is nice to see Edie Falco get work.

I don't think I've ever watched a show filled with such a combination of things I loved and things I hated. I'm definitely captivated by this show, but often annoyed.

Shiza, I've had a crush on Peter Facinelli for years and am glad he finally got a decent role that may stick around for a while. Jennie Garth is sooo lucky, they are adorable together.

One of my problems is Jackie and her Husband: She looks old enough to be his mother.

In real life, she is only 6 years older than he is, however, the way they portray her looks on the show it looks like 16 or more. Too bad, cause she really does look hot most times, except on the show.

From the moment he said "I made pancakes for supper. How cool is that?" in the first episode I've had a major grade 7 crush on him. Between him and Peter Facinelli (Coop), I am in Heaven.

Y'welcome. what I DIDN't get about the nurse eppie....if she was checking in to go to hospice, she would have had a TON of assorted narcs with her, plenty to leave RL with. Maybe she just wanted to leave happy with people she knew. *shrugs* And just for clarity, by push I meant I IV push in a prehospital...

OK, I didn't notice the label. That size bottle is always 10mg-mililiter in Morphine. 10mg morphine IVpush isn't a lot, even less if ingested. Jackie is an opiate addict, we've seen her snort percocet, darvocet, tylenol 3 and above all, Oxycontin, 80 mg. Even Oxy at 10 or 40mg is much stronger than...

I don't know drugs from shineola but the bottles read "morphine sulfate", which I assume is some sort of morphine. Little glass bottles about 1 1/2" - 2" long. With the rubber tops you would stick a needle into.

if it was morphine, FPF is right, the nurse had a high tolerance due to her cancer status. I personally think it was valium. That would equal 30mgs of liquid valium(10mg per mililiter), it would hit you hard and fast. just what you'd need after news like that. 30mg of morphine wouldn't kill jackie...

And while Showtime has yet to officially add the series to its lineup, a recent announcement - naming the entire cast - all-but-assures Falco's new show will make it onto the air some time next year.
