My friend has the cluster HA and that's how they start out, I've never had them. Get them about once a year or so now, but can control onset with deep breathing when the visual shit kicks in.

So far I've not noticed any foods/drink that set me off.... it's a muscle in my neck that starts to seize up. It feels like a know under my shoulderblade, and it gets tighter and tighter. Massage therapy does twiddly-twat and I've heard that Botox may work. My insurance will only cover it if I get a note from a neurologist. The only thing is, my doctor just keeps throwing propaganda published by the pharmaceutical companies and pushing more drugs on me.
