Yeah, that whole scene where he is interviewing the lady and her nephew while on the phone with Jane. Jane makes him ask about ghosts.

The look on his face was like, dude, don't make me ask that.

I'm still watching and still enjoying it. I think tonight is halloween-themed, so I'm excited for that. They really need to stop putting every good show on Thursday, especially one like this that doesn't have the following of Grey's or whatever else is on. It seriously pisses me off. I have absolutely nothing to watch on Tuesdays...couldn't they put it there?!?

Ratings have been solid but not spectacular. The show is getting higher ratings than Eleventh Hour did in the same timeslot last year, but it hasn't been the ratings juggernaut that CBS was probably hoping for.

I agree.. if they are going to have it in the background than they should give us some tidbits every ep.

Kinda like how the show LIFE was.
There was always a few details on who framed Charlie for killing his best friend (and wife/kid).

not saying I want resolution - just that Red John was a recurring theme throughout season 1 and seems to have all but disappeared since Terry Kinney came on and took the case away. So does that mean we have a season with no Red John??

They really dropped the ball on the Red John thing. Not that they have to highlight it every episode, but if they did it like Life (at the end of every episode Crews would be at his wall and you always knew he was working on finding out why he was framed, etc....even though the show didn't necessarily address it) it would be more realistic to Jane. Last thing he did was plant the bug and you'd think we'd get a scene of him listening in. Something to keep the thread going.
