Yea early is good...the late ones are so dull...Cook Islands made that mistake and it was so bland by the time they merged and went by so fast it was like it never happened...just too late...and some jurors had never even met the...

I think this is because they've got the "comfort" vs. HII choice included. And the knuckleheads almost invariably pick the "comfort" choice. Uh-oh.

Anyone know who the car sponsor is this season? And if they changed the merge time, I hope it's not later. I hate the idea of jury members possibly having never played with the people they have to decide between.

The season will bring harder (yet more simply designed) challenges, fewer water games and a good-versus-evil theme. Producers will also keep players on their toes by switching up the order of some Survivor staples - the car challenge, tribal merger, outsider visits. "Any time we pull something over on the players, it's cause to pop a bottle of champagne," Probst says.

it's because human mind is logically designed to take side when they're in shit. final 4. If they don't have a solid voting ally by then, you'd know you're toast.

The key word is "NEVER". It is possible as I explained. Kindergarten kids would never get voted out with 2 immunity idols in hand either I suppose.

Actually, if A, B, and C were in an alliance, but decided they wanted to unload C at F4, they could vote for C, C would vote for D, and D would vote for A or B, thus leading to 2-1-1 vote.

I think the reason why the HII idol is still in use is because of the drama it creates, yes it may be played out but when your actually waching someone get blindsided its not any less intertaining. Plus without the HII the boots will be predictable because if a person is out of an alliance they basically get voted out. It seems like this cast is really hidden this season, even the promos didn't show them it just basically talked about being in HD.

Ace and Jessica are a showmance, but way after the merge. Ace wins immunity to guarantee him in final 3. He keeps Jessica, who plays the HII at final 6, and decides to go with who is he has a bigger attraction for: Kelly or Paloma, and Paloma gets voted out 2-1-1. Randy is 1st boot.
