Oh, well that's too bad. I thought that Kathy Griffin had posted here after her win, but maybe they changed the contract.

And Paul, thanks for defending Mark. He really is well-liked here, but there are always people that see things a different way. And your daughter is absolutely adorable!

I am Brenda Lambrechts sister, and Marks sister-in-law, and I can confirm that her being able to stay home with the kids has been a dream of hers for a long time. I think it is great that Mark wanted to give that to her as a gift. My husband would love to do that too, but for us it is not a possibility. Realistically though the $420,000 will end up being around $200,000 after taxes and may possibly be able to let her "not work" maybe until the new baby...

Okay, well, I was out of line. At least I'm able to admit it. It's only that when the whole scene played out on the TV, it seemed a little wrong at the time. I didn't see the first episode or really know what Mark's wife truly wants.

As an amends, I crossed out the post, and hopefully Mark isn't scared away if he wants to post here.

In the first episode, he said staying home with the kids is something that SHE always wanted, but they couldn't afford it. This was a gift he could give to her by winning the show. It's not like he won and then was demanding that she stay home against her will.

Way to chain your wife to the birthing bed. You didn't even give her a choice if she wanted to keep her career. And if you prized staying with your kids so much, why aren't you staying at home raising them?

You acted nice to everyone on the show, but when you met with your wife, her shrinking gestures screamed abuse.
