Yeah, but how many times did they show the thumbprint over the entire season, that they expected someone to stop and look at each and every one? Weewee?

And the area codes in the intro, great, there's only 10 intros, but there's so much shit going on, they really expected someone to freeze frame all 10 in their entirety?

Seems like shit a computer would be able to help with. Might even be a requirement to use one, considering you'd basically have to be told...

Back during Mole 2 I obsessively freeze framed with my VCR. with the availability of DVRs, I could clearly see them expecting at least a few obsessive people to find these clues. Had I not been so burned by the "Bill is the Mole" "clue", I probably would have looked more.

That's what I wonder. When they put in those impossible clues "Not Ali", the coordinates, etc. Do they really, honestly expect some people to find them or is it just for shits and giggles?

I thought some were cool. Some ridiculous. I think they were designed with DVRs in mind, which is cool. They just overestimated the interest level of the fanbase to find them.

w/e these clues were great. The obscure and stretched hidden clues that we made up are just as far fetched as the real ones except we didn't catch the intended ones. How could we miss creepy Craig laughing? I thought it was nice that they repeated all the clues in the recap, too.

omg, these clues were absolutely horrendous and impossible. i watch this show but don't pause my fucking tv.
am i the only one that was expecting them to say the pig challenge was a direct clue for the fact that the mole was an obese pig himself?

But, yes, the producers at least learned to make the clues difficult.
In fact, the clues should be so obtuse that, when people discover them and post them, they will not be believed. But the clues should be about the Mole, and not the final three.

I like the thing they did in one of the foreign versions where if you take the the first word the hosts says at the beginning of each episode you get "The first words reveal the Mole is xxxxx".

Thank you so much ABC for giving away the fact that Ali was not the mole in a clue that was impossible to see. How I could not figure out Craig was the mole after that dead giveaway is beyond me.

And how come they never mentionned anything about Jon showing everyone Craig's journal in the premiere (#11), then Craig apperaing eleventh in the opening credit? That was the ONE clue that average viewers...
