It was Bush who was mad at France for not seeing those weapons of mass destruction, like Bush himself did.

So instead of having French Fried Tater, he wanted to call them Freedom Fries as a 6 year old method of shunning.

France was moving towards liberty early on. Even King Francis was trying to set his people free early on. The Germans, and Rome were trying to re-gain their empires and it was France holding them back.

France is a great country!

I was trying to remember what the deal was. Was it because they wouldn't fight in Iraq? Was THAT why the stupid term Freedom Fries was coined? WTF were WE thinking?? Anyhow, at the olympics they make announcements in Chinese, English and French. i understand the first two. Why the French? is it just because the head of the olympics is french?
