Do not get involved, Vicc. It's a colossal waste of time. You either have to invest your entire life into leveling and gearing up or you have to deal with the humiliation of being a total scrub and getting your ass kicked by fat, basement-dwelling nerds. We'll appreciate the easy kills, but what do you get out of it?

But if you do decide to play, roll Horde on Laughing Skull or Alliance on Hydraxis. :)

How easy is it to get into these games? Where is a good place to start. The only exposure I have had to WoW is that episode of South Park. I have a really good gaming machine, but only use it for racing sims and the odd first person shooter.

I'm playing Warhammer, and I'm pretty satisfied with the game so far. I can log on for a 1/2 hour, or several, and actually accomplish something without constantly waiting around to form groups. I only have a couple mid level characters (21 Disciple and 19 Black Orc), so it may change towards endgame, but there is always something to do and it's usually pretty fun. There is a large emphasis on PVP though, so if you only like PVE it may not be the best game for you, even though...

My guild got down Illidan for the first time last night (way easier then Archimonde, Vashj, and Kael'thas) and today I got my WotLK beta key. Woot!

Just wondering if any other OT WoW addicts are still playing/have moved on to Conan or some other MMO/quit until the expansion comes out or whatnot.
