Neither of these peeps has made much of an impression on me. However, if I made a point to check out their posts and if they were like most posters here, I'm sure the answer would be a resounding yes.

I'm not the one who said you had to choose. Modesty made it very clear that any disparaging remarks about her are the equivalent of an eternal love commitment to powers.

I just wanted to know if that was the case or not.

I don't understand the question. How are the two concepts related?

It's hard to dislike modesty; how is a lack of boastfulness a bad thing?

And powers are kinda cool, as anyone who watches "Heroes" could tell you. Well except the bleeding-eyes-that-kill-people thing.

But seriously, who would be more likable:

1. A person who can fly, but doesn't brag about it, or

2. A person who is invisible and runs around...

Modesty takes this VERY VERY seriously. Posting the wrong thing on a message board to her is akin to Princess Diana dying.

Powers can't take this as seriously, as he has to juggle thoughts of the posters in his treehouse and where to find another pair of wonderful-fitting khaki pants.

Modesty feels that anyone who doesn't appreciate her must be a de facto Powers fan.

I argue that modesty presents enough dislikable fodder all on her own, no batsignal required.

Thoughts?
