Your backyard is bigger than the back yards my friends who live in the city here have. And their houses tend to be smaller. Not at all new. Like a hundred years old and stuff. But smaller.

I had four at the height of my city cat owning days. 40 - two year old kids on a sugar high playdate are easier to manage.

I had a herding dog once and a litter of kittens - he seriously kept trying to herd the kittens - by the time I got rid of the kittens he was a nervous wreck

Don't listen to the haters; you have a nice house. I've seen the pictures of the inside and it is very pretty. Not my kind of living, but still gorgeous.

Containered bamboo would be perfect; but you want above ground containers so that you can monitor the roots. That stuff is a bitch if it gets out of control.

I love your deck furniture, the style and the colour.

She herds the ferrets. I'm taking her to see sheep before the end of summer. We've been too busy with agility and disc.

My neighbors two border collies look a lot like Lola, but they are working cattle dogs. They'd eat the ferret They killed at least three foxes this spring and summer. I love those two for keeping it real.

Lola would prolly lick a fox.

Toronto isn't alone, many cities have passed overly protective bylaws because of a small number of fires that spread from one house to another via blown out...

jees. who cares about my backyard. I live right on the shores of Lake Ontario in a conservation area. since i've lived here i've seen foxes, numerous deer, raccoons, and we have horses that live just at the top of my street.
