A couple of my outside windows on the river side have a bit of a cloudy film that I haven't been able to get off completely with regular stuff. I think it's from the salt water or something

She doesn't speak that much English, but she knows vacuum and 409. So she'll do for now. I hate fixing shit after the three amigas leave, I like things in their damn place.

My mother's friend cleans the house. She comes about once a month. But my mom is major OCD about the house. She cleans for the cleaning lady. Kid you not.

They usually don't put it back the same way so that way you know they moved them and cleaned. All they really have to do is rearrange the shit.

I've had my cleaning lady for 11 years. I think that's before Craig's list was even invented. She cleans every other week, 4 hrs, at $15 an hour. That's $17,160.00. And worth every penny.

Our mexican (cleaning woman) on her first visit charged $150. It took her and two others 5 hours to clean the house. They did blinds/baseboards, everything. We supply the cleaning stuff and she uses what we want her to. Now she come once every 2 weeks and charges $90 every visit. I don't know how much time she spends here, because I'm at work when she is here cleaning. I"m pretty happy with her work. She doesn't put everything back exactly, but whatever.

Our Amish housekeepie was new school. She even drove on some days but most days buggied it with 2 other Amish housekeepies. Then they'd clean up the whole neighborhood.

I wish I could have an Amish cleaning lady - my old cleaning lady stopped cleaning houses and I need to find a new one. I seriously doubt that I'll be able to find an Amish one though and I really don't want to use a service.

So, being the messy guy I am, I've decided to seek out a cleaning lady on a regular basis. I've never hired one to clean before, so I've got some questions for everyone. Do I stay in the apartment when she cleans? Do I supply her with the supplies? Should she be doing my laundry? An add on craigslist said she would work for 14$ an hour, with a minimum of two hours. I think it's reasonable... is it?
