I would say funniest, not the worst. Without any confident ugly fat girls, who would be your wing woman at a bar, or tell off the creep who's following the girls when you're partying downtown, or just be there to remind you that a woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle.

Mary stuart masterson should not be ANYONE's choice ever ever ever.

Things are different now than they were in the 80's. Girls walk around fat and ugly with a ton of self esteem. And they get pregnant by gang members. So, I'd rather my kid stick to liking pretty girls.

Well, the movie was much more about Molly than him, and she definitely picked the rich kid over the dorky guy. Hell, at least Steff had some self-confidence and a killer party house. Blaine was about as dull as it fucking gets.

::raises hand:: I have a son who is a geek. Terribly so. He'll be a senior this year, too, so it's compounded. Tall, thin, wears glasses, loves D&D (my fault) and sci-fi movies (his stepdad's fault. okay, mine too.)

I'm a pretty outgoing and social person, so how this child came to me is a mystery. Yes, I have a degree in physics, but that was a long time ago. He was only a baby! I also am a biker-ish babe-ish kind of gal. So shouldn't that have balanced...
