Am I a bad American for hoping that Michael Phelps doesn't go back to the Olympics in 2012? I just don't want to have to listen to Bob Coshtash talking about how "unpreshented" everything Michael Phelps does is. Also the commentators pissed me off, with the screaming and the over dramatizing everything.

Maks came to their final match last week <3. Misty danced with the dancers that entertain before the match <3. I'm not worried about them though. They are warn out from the media domination and Misty's dance rehearsals. They'll come back to the final match and win it <3.

Misty May and Kerri Walsh lost again today This time they didn't even make the finals. Also, the team that beat them last week (Youngs/Branch) also lost in the semis. The final match was composed of two people teams that lost and then went through the losers bracket to make their way to the final. Such bullshit.

I realize how long it will be until the next summer olympics. I don't really care about the winter ones, just a bunch of boring skiing and ice skating.

Maybe nowhere near as spectacular as the 'regular' or 'non special' Beijing Olympics ceremony, but so far it's beautiful.

The first group of performers that came out... I don't know what they were supposed to be. Aliens?

But the sun bird thing was cool.

And the ballet performance with Ravel's Bolero was really touching. It kinda choked me up.
