Reason to have a child #1- telling stories about the shit they pull, especially to their future spouses.

Story from my sister today about my niece. My 3-year old niece came wandering in the room with one brown index finger. My sister says, "Oh no, is that the dog poopy from earlier?" (They'd stepped in it outside.) My niece says, "Maybe it is dog poopy. Or. MAYBE I just stuck my finger up my butt." Angelic smile from niece.

I bet Amy would love to have all sorts of babies for you. Which is good because I could see her rolling over on one and smothering it by accident...... leaving one in a hot car......backing over one in the driveway, etc., etc. Good idea to have some spares.

That may well be the other Screerider, but my wife did all the downloading on ours. Well, I did tap on the button to get things started, I suppose. Watching the progress bar was never boring, and when they completed, seeing them getting moved out of the cache was awesome.

An article in the latest Newsday dispels the theory that being a breeder and watching your DNA consume precious non-renewable resources is the highest joy a human can aspire to. Nay, those without children are demonstratively happier than the compatriots toting the diaper bag / playpen / toys / high chair / etc or sacrificing financially for their spawn. Their happiness quotient only returning after the chicks have left the nest.
