The rewind part was SO lame. It totally ruined the movie for me.

Anna was supposed to be the final girl. It was interesting, the ending sucked though.

I also saw this last week. The trailer was excellent so I was a little upset because it wasn't actually fun killing, it was kinda lame killing. But it wasn't terrible. The acting was great at least.

I saw this last week. It was so unlike anything I've ever seen, that I really enjoyed it.

Yeah, when it ended I was pissed though. Like, "that's it? huh?", but it was interesting, sick, but interesting.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I liked it, but it'll definitely stick with me and much more interesting than movies like Saw and The Strangers.

Yeah, the rewind part was stupid. I guess it was to play with the viewers for some reason, to give us hope that the family would survive, only to take it away, to show us we wouldn't get the ended we wanted?

I dunno, but I thought about it the rest of day, so I guess it was pretty effective, eh.

Yeah, the fourth wall breaking was weird, especially since it only happened like three times. But the "rewind" scene was just fucked up. I would have gotten the point without either of these gimmicks.

I watched it a few weeks ago. It was a bit pretentious, wasn't it? I think it was meant to teach us that we shouldn't enjoy shit like that, and that it was our fault for killing them. I guess that's what all the 4th wall breakage was about.

Oh and the same dude directed both I think. I read it was almost a shot for shot remake.
