You should drink whatever color you LIKE. And don't drink US wine unless you are a total cretin who likes paying twice as much for an inferior product. Try south american, spanish or italian wines. Don't go for austrailian. New Zealand can be ok. Chilean is great as is Argentinian. And they are cheap. Don't leave out sparking wines such as Cava and Prosecco. They are wonderful with appetizers or dessert.

I agree with the poster who suggested you drink what you like. This is what I do unless I am out to dinner with my co-workers - who are French - at which point they order the wine.

I think they have classes like that for adults where they teach them manners, how to dress, etc - they're usually designed for those trying to get ahead in the corporate world

Whenever going out, I was always quiet and so I never did screaming or anything like that with or without the classes.. because I was a shy kid growing up and scared of my mom. lol My mom didn't think I needed them because I wasn't a screaming kid or anything like that but I liked to go to dress up and plus some of my best friends were in it.

Although, I think we had sparkling cider or something at the dinner table. I know you're supposed to drink red wine with pork and beef, and you drink white wine with chicken and poultry, and you drink rose wine at parties or if you're gay. What I don't know is what to do with tofu, since I don't eat meat. Should I base the wine on the heaviness of the sauce? Does it go with white wine because it's light? Also, what goes with a vegetarian pasta? I SO don't know.
