So yesterday I spent 20 minutes figuring out exactly what time I had to leave in order not to have overtime. I ended up with the two extra minutes because the
time clock is off from my computer.

<p> yep. Then of course we have my manager who completely overthrows the whole system by deciding not to clock out for her breaks, so she can get more OT.

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m lucky because I&#39;m a paralegal, so I have way more freedom than the secretaries. For instance, I strolled in today at 9:07, because I had worked
through lunch earlier in the week and I knew I had extra time that I could use. It&#39;s great having that so flexible. If people are a few minutes late,
it&#39;s no big deal, but they concentrate more on us working 7.5 hours a day (yes, they pay overtime after 37.5 hours). ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I work in a huge hospital, and they JUST put in the time clock about 4 years ago. Before then we filled out timesheets, and it was a bit of an honor system for
us late night workers. I was glad when they did put in the time clock though, because I&#39;m always on time, but before we had to punch an acuall clock one of
my co-workers used to show up 20 to 30 minutes late every day and sign in for his regular start time. Nobody ever called him on it because there were no

<p>Yeah, that&#39;s the way we did it -- up until they hired this bitch of a bookkeeper who decided that the LAWYERS were getting screwed if we worked 8
minutes over and were paid for 15.  Of course, the bitch is too stupid... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Paid for every minute we&#39;re punched in.. we&#39;re allowed to punch in early if we want to, especially if the store&#39;s opening and we show up early. I
think the earliest is like ten minutes. Nothing&#39;s docked if you punch in a couple minutes late.. but if you punch <em>in</em> too late or too early it
won&#39;t take you and you gotta get someone to do it through the computer or override your punch. idk how many minutes exactly. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m salaried but I&#39;m the IT person who sets up the system (really cool software btw). It lets us choose what the settings are. I don&#39;t know about
clocking in early, but we have the grace period - 8 minutes I think. But I can turn that off at anytime so don&#39;t abuse it! ]]></description>
