Episode 1: Jon refers to the dinner as the Last Supper. If you look at Leonardo DaVinci's painting, Judas is seated three to the left of Jesus (in the painting, Judas is the black man--or at least man of color--with his arm on the table). At that dinner, if you use Jon as Jesus, Alex was in the seat of Judas. Judas was a betrayer, a la the Mole. Religious imagery abounds this season as they are in Latin America.

Under the video screen, click extras and hit the right arrow until you reach the deleted Alex "confessional". He goes on this horribly fake rant, and I can't tell if he thinks he is a good actor or if he wants the viewer to be in on his funny joke. Regardless, it is appaling.

Alex was being a dickhead in the locked up challenge to make someone angry so they'd take the exemption, like the mole wants them to. He may really be a dickhead but I'm guessing the producers told him to antagonize the other team members in that challenge. More proof that he's the mole.

I agree I was feeling the same things that were already stated. When they were all chained up and Alex was just standing there against the bars, I kept thinking that the Mole move would be to prey on peoples' greed. These kinds of judgments are all up to interpretation though. I'll admit, no matter how hard I try to keep an open mind, my interpretations of Alex's activities are colored by my strong belief that he's the mole.
