Not only is Jurassic Park one of my favorite movies of all time, but the book is also one of my favorite novels of all time. I remember watching the film on some cable channel and seeing the early trailer for the sequel and being so fucking excited at the prospect of another JP movie. My favo movie ever, but it had been at least a decade since I've seen it. It also sparked an interesting question: How for fuck's sake were the CGI miles better and more convincing 15 years ago than they are today???

Shouldn't technology improve with time? I love the SpiderMan/X-Men movies and all that shit, but they all look like a Disney/Pixar animated movie compared to some really well made movies 15 years ago.
