Mine's copper based. I guess the Romans used it. We use Pristine Blue. It doesn't burn your eyes, bleach out your swimsuit, or is harsh on your skin or hair. I really like it, but I've heard the salt water pools feel "soft". Mine just feels like regular ol water, but without the burn.

1. Ocean swimming - too salty but I love to be on a sandy beach.

2. Lakes - grew up swimming in them, but now UGH. I can't do it unless it's crystal clear. Too oogy otherwise.

3. Pool - have my own in the backyard. Mineral based, not chlorine, but I've heard the salt water ones are the shit, too.

Lake Erie up here is very popular, but on any given day its affected with e coli, which places hazzards on swimming. Most people dont care, they swim in it anyways.

I prefer the ocean. If you suddenly gotta take a crap you can just drop trou, do your business, then move on down the beach 20-30 yards (any further and you're out of range for good viewing of the reaction of people who spot your work). In the pool, it's a whole other story.

I prefer a swimming pool...indoor or outdoor doesn't matter unless its raining out.

I've yet to see a shark at my gym's pool.

I got clipped on the thigh by a large sea turtle off the coast of Sao Paulo. Couldn't have been more than 4 feet long or so. Don't be a bunch of babies.

I doubt that. Millions and millions of people swim in the ocean each year and more people would if they could afford a beach vacation.

I won't swim in the ocean, a river or a lake. I love vacationing by the ocean and will get my feet wet.
The only pool i swim in is the one in my backyard, i know it's clean.

Pool... lake.... ocean.... it's all good. As long as it looks clean and safe, I'll jump in. Oh, and somewhat warm. Or it has to be a really hot day. I hate being cold when I come out of the water.

The ocean up here is GROSS. Rocky and cold and full of seaweed. Yuck. If I lived in Puerto Rico though I wouldn't mind.
