I dont think micronesia was boring or anywhere near being the most boring season of all-time but i will agree that it isnt the best season. i think china was a lot better mainly because of fewer people and better editing so we got to know all the people a little bit, unlike in micronesia where we didnt know alexis, natalie, mary, chet, etc. But micronesia was still a great season and probably in my top 5 or so!

The tension between the 2 rival Fave alliances was epic the first 3 episodes. Who would secure the swing vote and take control? Fairplay quitting keeping it sizzling another 2 episodes. The Joel vs Mikey vs Tracy\Chet rivalry was fun too.

The season only sagged a bit in the ep.6-7 quit episodes. But otherwise it was golden.

I thought Micronesia was amazing from the get go. It had 1 of the most entertaining pre-merges to me ever with all the unexpected blindsides. Definitely my favorite season ever

Er, yeah, Micronesia didn't get awesome until the merge episode. And it remained that way until the end. I bashed the first few episodes more than almost anyone, but the post-merge was absolutely fantastic. You can't call a season boring when you only watched less than a third of it. That said, yeah, nowhere close to best season ever. The early episodes have their moments but it takes too long for the real action to begin.

I'm way ahead of all of you. Having watched all of Fiji, I came to realize that I'd much rather have not be made to constantly yell at my TV set. After four episodes of the continuous nincompoop-fest that was Micronesia, I decided enough was enough and never tuned back in.

Project Runway deserved it over the others last year by a laughably huge margin. For this season, not so much.

Part of the issue is that they are judged solely on two episodes. Survivor's character development plays a big part when stuff like blindsides occur- For someone to just watch the Ozzy blindside without having seen all 8 previous episodes, it loses much of its impact.

Survivor deserved to be nominated for best reality show along with TAR as it is more well crafted than those other 4 shows. Even Celebrity Apprentice deserves to be nominated over those other 4 shows. If one of those other 4 shows wins over TAR, then the voters are on crack.
