There is one nurse on our floor, who will even give the prisoners back rubs to relax them when they are in the hospital.

We had a prisoner on our floor the other day. He was fixed up and ready to be released back to prison (where he would go to the sick bay) and all he could do was whine about the fact that he won't get "this level of care" at the prison.

No kidding dude. That's why they call it prison.

And frankly, about paying for prisoners healthcare, I really don't get it. I mean, in my mind, if someone has a heart attack and dies, then they die of natural causes....

That woman has been trying to get released since the beginning. Tex Watson and she both tried the Born Again card and it hasn't worked for either of them. I don't think any of the "Manson Killers" should be released.

Besides, so we really need her freed so she can hit the talk show circuit and milk her infamous past for cash and prizes ?

Why do prisoners get free health care?? That's stupid.

Not that I condone it, but who else is going to pay for it? Should someone in Prison not get any treatment?

It's a sticky situation all around.

She'll get released, apply for medicare/medicaid cause she cant' get a job, or it will be pawned off on the taxpayers because she'll default on her hospital/doctors bills. Either way, we're paying for it. She might as well stay in prison.

BTW, who's seen the uncensored crime scene pictures? Bitch deserves nothing in terms of compassion.

I don't think y'all realize what a compassionate release is. It's basically the state saying 'We're tired of paying your medical bills and you're no longer a threat to anyone. Get out and pay it yourself.'
