I didn't think Africa was all that bad. A few things that I always remember about that season right off the bat:

~ absolutely HATING the Samburu mall-rat alliance. I was thrilled to see both Silas & Lindsay gone early, one right after the other. Silas' ouster remains to this day one of my favorite tribal councils ever, and I loved Lindsay's panicked reaction at the following reward challenge ("Silas is gone! Silas is gone!"). I couldn't stop laughing at...

I actually liked Africa. It would of been a fantastic season if Brandon was such a dumbass. A final 4 of Kelly, TBird, Frank and Kim P would of been awesome.

Kelly G is one of my favorite players. She was smart and knew all along how twatwaffle was.

I personally don't think it was horrible, just nowhere as good as the first 2 and for me, the massive power swing in Marquesas (the first of its kind) blew anything they did in Africa out of the water. The cast was decent as well, I just hated the F2. It was the first one for me that was a lesser of 2 evils F2 and not the kickass F2's we'd seen in Borneo and Outback.

Still think it's great that Kelly knew Lex for what he was, all those years back. You go girl!

Okay what was so horrible about this season? I really loved this season because it was just so different from the others, it's definatley the most underrated season of survivor. MY favorite castaway was (don't shoot!) Kim J. I really enjoyed her underdog story and even though she made zero strategic moves she should have beat Ethan. Kim J was always at the end of the totem pole when it came to alliances yet managed to make the final 2. Ethan was boring as hell and had no story line...

This is the only season that I have seen only once. I bought it on ebay, but it never showed up. I own every other season, so I guess I'm no help here.... except "I really want to watch this season again!!!!"

Africa was decent. Tribe switch was funny, as was Lex before he was Twatwaffle. He and Big Tom switching tribes and walking in the way 2 adults would a frathouse was awesome. Clarence throwing his game for some fucking chicken was maybe the lamest move to date, at that time. Brandon was an idiot who only got play here because some of the gay dudes had a crush on him. Shitty Survivor, that one. Ethan winning was shitty, Kim was shitty, Twatwaffle was shitty. In fact it's the one season...

Silas would've been a great player, and he had the right idea, he just really fucked it up. On the other hand, Frank and T-Bird weren't really genius' either. Even though they didn't have a choice, going to the other side really isn't such a good idea. They were at the bottom of both tribes.

Best player: Kelly. It's just unfortunate that douchebags prevented her from winning.
