After the end, the mom in front of us said to her kid, "That's why we recycle! So we won't get kicked off our planet!"
Then I walked out and threw my plastic water bottle in the trash because the theater doesn't provide a recycle bin.

I loved Wall-E and Eeeeev-ah, but I had to fight my instinct to pick at all the things that didn't make sense.

But yes, there are details where you're like, "huh?" For example, how did they get water on the Axiom? How did they re-fuel the Axiom? Did people pay in advance for all their drinks and hovercrafts and room fees etc? Wouldn't that be super expensive given they were on a 5 year cruise? When they went out to start the farm, how did they irrigate it? And what did...

This movie was great until it started moving plotwise with the evil mac machine thing. I guess it's best not to think too much about the plot and just enjoy the animation.

Saw it last night, and I have to wonder what it takes to impress some of you people who hated it.

YOU try making a movie where 80% of the characters can't talk and most don't even have a mouth. It was really genius storytelling because it made us feel for a fucking box with eyes and a shiny white glowing egg.

We went and saw it last night. It was cute, and we liked it, but it wasn't like a "ZOMG bestest greatest movie evah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" type thing.

And I don't know how anyone could complain about the fatties, those fuckers flopping around when the ship was tilting was some funny shit.

I took the little one to see it today.

She thought it was scary and sad and asked to leave at one point. At the end she said she liked it.

It takes a long time for the movie to go from being sad to being happy.

We're going to try the American girl movie and the monkeys in space movie in the next couple weeks.

I CAN'T WAIT!

I made a date with my brother's wife and my 5 year old nephew for the end of June to go see this. I'm gonna set a 5 pound box of popcorn on my lap slathered in a pound of white cheddar seasoning and bask in the sweetness.

Pixar hasn't done anything right since Finding Nemo.

I hold out great hope for this one.

PLUS I absolutely LOVE the way he says his name in that robotic voice.
