I felt embarrassed for both Davids when they both had to come on stage at the start of the show in robes and gloves. They looked mortified as well.

Actually, they didn't carry the boxing crap far enough. If they'd actually settled this thing in the ring, I'm sure Cook would have pummeled the little twerp senseless, which would have been much more entertaining than what we saw tonight.

This had to be the WORST.FINALE.EVER... from the boxing analogies, to the song choices and the strange "judges".. Clive okay although he has retired now and that fucker Sir Andrew.. Bizarre. Frankly I didn't think either David's were that good and poor Jim Lampley how did they coerce him into that? Blackmail photos? Even Ryan was hiding out after songs 2 and 3.. okay well that was okay... but it just sucked overall

I'm new here, but damn, I felt the need to start this topic.

It's like the powers that be decided to do some random boxing shit to get in some puns (), burn up time, and sometimes the boxing mentor's words didn't even make sense to singing. Don't give your all in the first round? WTF, why did they even air that? Of course a singer will give their all in every song.
