Kitchen Nightmares isnt exactly competiton.

I mean in terms of show quality. Moment of Truth and Hole in the Wall are just drawn-out trash.

The only real competition FOX could bring is American Idol. There are a few other successful shows on FOX, but AI is the only one that I think really has a chance of "killing" Survivor.

Looks like Fox is gonna put two episodes of Kitchen Nightmares against Survivor instead.

Which is a shame, because unlike the other two shows they had planned, KN doesn't suck. Still, I wouldn't skip Survivor over it.

I thought The Moment of Truth was tanking recently since it doesn't have AI to leech viewers from and because it's one of the worst-edited shows on television.

How could they make such a potentially trashy show so fucking boring and unwatchable? Leave it to Fox to fuck up an interesting concept.

Of all channels, the only one without any hope of beating Survivor is FOX. And with the hole in the wall show. Sad. They have gone to a new low of crappiness.

This is typical television hubris. If you were a student of television production, and your goal was to take down Survivor, would you assume that one victory against a single Wednesday airing of the season would mean anything? Would you not take collective track records into account? And wouldn't you want to put your titan up against their titan? We all know what the Fox answer was, and it seems Fox is the only one that doesn't see where this is all going.

Perhaps the producers are asking for too much money in the deal. What better way to kill a program than by pitting it against a show they know it will lose against. That way they don't have to worry about it showing up on another network.
