The sink in my guest bathroom makes this strange gurgly noise in the evenings after I shower in my bathroom. I rarely ever use the guest bathroom. What could
cause that noise?

I'm afraid to look in the drain, because I keep thinking about that Stephen King story where there was a finger in the dude's drain.

zippity, it may be that it needs to have some kind of declogger run down it if the guest bathroom is after the main bathroom. Drains are usually in the rear of
the house in most neighborhoods here. And I don't think anyone in this city has a septic tank 'cause the water level is way to high. Heck, we don't
even have basements here.

Gosh! I bought the yellow flap. It looked the nicest.

Sounds like maybe I don't even need to replace the flap but just to clean the seal. I haven't tried changing it yet. The seal has been having problems
for a while now - once in a while it doesn't seat properly when flushed and the handle needs a jiggle.

Goner, when you replaced the flap, did you wipe off the pipe end the flap covers? A plumber told me that sediment builds up around the pipe and a good seal
can't be made by the flapper unless you wipe off the pipe. And always, always, buy the red flapper (per plumber).

I think that's normal for a laundry room sink to gurgle.

Is this a new thing for the guest bathroom sink or have you always know it to do this. It sounds like a venting issue to me.

My problem is my terlet. I bought a replacement flap today hoping that what's wrong in my terlet. There is a leaking dripple noise and then a periodic
water running noise of topping up the terlet tank. Wish me luck.
