My sister had these leather loafers growing up, and we would make my dog smell them. She'd make a face and back away. That poor doggie.

Convincing my son he had to wear socks with his sneakers cured him of smelly feet. Now if we could just cure his hockey bag.

My daughter could not wear berkinstocks (or any leather sandals for that matter) without clearing the room. We were flying to Greece once, she took off her shoes, and I was livid at the lady in front of us. Thought she needed to change her kids diaper or something, looked down and realized the kid had taken off her shoes. It was horrible.

That being said, her feet never stink in sneakers or heels, just those damn leather sandals. So maybe it could be the shoes as well as some foot...

I used to have this OCD thing where I had to wear socks but I have stopped and now mostly go barefoot or wear sandals. I felt like feet bunched up into tight shoes with socks on tend to be stinkier then the ones that are allowed to roam free.

Seriously, strong, persistent foot odor is often a caused by athlete's foot. If that's the case, your doctor should be able to prescribe something to take care of it. I know from personal experience. My doc prescribed Lamisil. I took it for the three months and haven't had an issue with foot odor in over five years now.

the solution is tea. brew a quart of tea with 3 or 4 bags, let it cool, then soak your feet in it daily for a week. look it up- it works. Dr Oz says so.
