This season is so fucked up. I just want to go down to wherever they're holding the Grand Final this year (I hear that it's NOT the Kodak Theatre) and beat the shit out of Paula, Randy, Simon, Ryan, Nigel, and the two Davids with a 2x4. I used to like this show, but no longer.

Well, I will have an odd sense of satisfaction this time next week no matter who wins.

If Cook takes it, that will be good because he deserves it.

If Archie takes it, that will be good because Archie is the Idol TPTB deserve, and may he tank hard.

I decided after last year's snoozefest I would never watch again. If it hadn't been for the mailman telling me our homeboy was in, I wouldn't have. Cookie definitely made it worth it, but if he doesn't win, I'm pretty sure I'll be done.

I care, AMAI. Only insofar as I would never watch again if Archie wins. Two seventeen year olds in a row? And neither being the best? And if they lower the age even further? What would be the point of watching for anyone who is an adult? Of course, I would still have my life if I never watched again, so it really isn't that big a deal. :) But they WOULD have to change the name of the show to "American Tween Dream" or "American Tiger Beat(s Off)" or...

How assy to play the oh so very uninspirational "Dream On" during DC's hometown visit footage. I wonder what Michael thought about that. My eyes rolled into the back of my skull but that's just me.

I loved seeing MJ in the audience for all of 5 seconds! It was the best 5 seconds of the show!
