I like them all and it's delicious. Cake is my favorite food for birthday party, wedding and special occasions.

It's easier than throw a cupcake than it is to throw a piece of cake. Also, if you drop a cupcake, you've only lost one. But when you drop a cake, it's all gone.

There are such things as cupcakes with filling. I made some for the holidays. Scooped some cupcake out and filled it with whipped cream and then put the icing on top. They were mighty tasty...eggnog cupcakes, whipped cream, and then bourbon icing. YUM.

I find it too hard to eat a cupcake. I want icing and cake in each bite, so that requires me to open my mouth to the height of the cupcake and icing. It's not an appealing look.

Cake is better. You can eat it smaller bites and get a nice filling-to-cake ratio. As a kid I liked Hostess chocolate cupcakes, but would scoop out the white filling and toss it.

Yes, it's true. I work at a bakery and our cupcakes today had frosting just TOWERING over it, it was rather ridiculous. But delicious of course.

But the frosting is all on top of the cupcake. Cake usually has a higher frosting to cake ration AND a more even frosting distribution.
