Some thoughts:

1. As per the challenge overview picture, this is all one challenge, but I think that's pretty much been established already.
2. If the captions for the press pictures are correct, which I think they are, this is the Final 4 IC.
3. Those pictures were taken the day after Erik was voted out, so if this is the Final 4 IC, there presumably couldn't have been a Final 4 RC.
4. There have to be at least 2 challenges in the Finale, so if there's no...

Well a reward challenge would be filler. Plus They could chose to show a lot more of the jury questions then they have in the past. There has alwasy been a lot cut out of them that isn't shown. They could just chose to show more of that.

It could definitely be a final reward challenge for a car or an advantage, and I would prefer that over an obstacle course being the final immunity challenge. Since the immunity necklace hasn't been seen in any of the shots yet, it could still be a reward, and they could do an endurance challenge for the final immunity challenge.

And if it is a final 3, then if there's only one challenge, then there's gonna have to be a lot of filler in the rest of the 2 hours.

It makes more sense if it is an elaborate last reward challenge. Final immunity is usually a test of wills more than an outright physical challenge. Of course maybe this was done to give Ozzy an advantage.

It seems like the rungs are being put in order (seasons, bootees, something like that)? They all look like they are shaped the same, so it's not that sort of puzzle. Except that's weird because Probst would have to run up the ladder and look down to see if they're correct, which would not be good if people were close. Somehow the puzzle must be self-checking?

Haven't they done in the past where the challenge sorta climbed like this one, and the last stage is cutting...

I think there is a puzzle or something at the top of this. Otherwise, there would be no need for a Probst ladder.

It looks to me like Amanda is putting in a second rung, the bottom one. I think perhaps Parvati has one in too, and you can't see it behind her. It looks like Natalie is actually putting her third rung in. You can see the shadow of her first rung (in the second slot) under Amanda's arm. If I'm right, Natalie is winning at this point. Of course, we can't see much of Parvati's ladder and part of Amanda's isn't visible either, so some of their higher rungs could...

The black ladder is definitely for Jeff, as you can see there is a mat infront of each ladder, except for that one, to mark that those are the ladders you'll be putting the rungs in.

This is the shot some folks caught a glimpse of on the CBS website earlier in the week?

Interesting that the three of them are apparently so close, after already doing whatever. (I guess the colored poles, since they are wet). Parvati sorta looks like she's getting something on the ground, but I don't think I see any little piles of rungs, like if they had retrieved a bag of puzzle rungs from the colored pole. Could this be like that insanely long China one where they had to...
