Eric just showed that just because you are a fan of a game doesn't mean you have any idea how to play it. In fact, I think he is apparently more a fan of the personalities on Survivor than the game itself. He was more obsessed with getting into the good graces of the "favorites" than he was winning the game (well, that and he's an idiot). I would've chosen to go to exile myself, if I was Eric. Basically, a higher chance of getting immunity than even a regular IC, given this season's rampant immunity idol finds.

Quite apparently, Immunity was NOT that important to him :)

She probably would've found the HII, he would've still won immunity, he'd have no reason to give it up and Amanda would've been sent home.
