That's why I'm one of the few who actually liked Fiji. I thought the post-merge part of that season was gold. Throw that in with just enough golden moments from the pre-merge makes it one of my most favourite...

I hate to admit this. In fact, after my Lord and Savior was untimely crucified by an unsanitized olive branch, I wrote off this season as impossible to like, and doomed to be a shitfest.

I fucking love this season.

Despite all the injuries, despite all of my favorites getting voted out premerge and early jury, this season has fucking.delivered. Even though we are pretty much guaranteed a shit winner, personality wise, at least all 4 remaining ladies can present a pretty...

How is a bunch of morons fucking themselves over make it the best season? This is the worst season. Or at least the season with the dumbest contestants.

I mean, look at this shit. 3 people forced out of the game due to injury. 3 people booted when they had immunity. Fucking ridiculous.

Let's face it, Cirie is pretty lame. But hey, she's black and this is the year of Obama, and she at least doesn't have the typical black 'tude so that's a plus.
But this is the season of Parvarti and Amanda- two sizzlers the camera loves and have controlled the game. Just a tremendous one-two shot for MB and JP.
How great to have them in the final two- or will it be three this year?

Actually, I think the "fans vs. favorites" aspect was executed to near-perfection. For the most part, the game has been controlled by the experienced players, who have manipulated the fans (sometimes against other "favorites")....

This season has been terrific. I would probably only grade 2 episodes under an A and that would be the first episode and Tracy's boot but those were both B episodes... I loved this season's the premerge stuff with Joel/Chet/Mikey/Tracey/ Mary (Who) was terrific. The Stuff with Jonathan vs. Cirie was great... Ami's boot was laffotastic and then everything after the merge was PURE TELEVISION GOLD!!!... This is defo up there surpassing China I think maybe second favorite ever ......

Some things wouldn't have changed without the idols. Eliza obviously still would have gone and I still think Ozzy would have been blindsided. The fact that he was blindsided with an immunity idol just made it more hilarious.

Jason still would have gone next, just without the drama of "WILL HE USE THE IDOL?!" so that wouldn't have been as fun. The only big change is that Amanda would have gone in the f6 and we'd probably end up with an Alexis/Erik/Natalie f3....
