I was listening to some great quality mp3s of the songs earlier. He sounds so good on "One"...just gives me chills. Carly sounded better on the mp3s than she did on the show for whatever reason, but I still wish it was all him. I hate to say it, because I don't care much for Brooke, but I am kind of thinking that I'd like for him to duet with her on the tour like he mentioned on AI Extra or After the Show or whatever it's called. Their voices seem like they may be a good...

Carly said in some Fox interview that she only likes to sing challenging songs.....She said she didn't enjoy singing Dolly Parton's song because it was too easy (unintentionally bashing Ms. Parton's vocal range?). And yet that was one of her only good performances. She has to stop worrying about impressing people with her technical skills and learn some bloody artistry. She's going to have trouble, this one. Her ego is much bigger than her talent.

It was a bad match-up. I like Carly's voice, but that wasn't the song for her. It worked better for him.

I didn't know what thread this would fit in but I though some people might like to know.

Ellen invited Michael and Carly to do a duet on the special episode of her show she taped in Chicago. I believe they taped the episode on Saturday and it will air tomorrow (Tuesday May 6th). I heard about them doing the duet on Ellen a couple of days ago but now that it's been taped there are details.
