Agreed. As strange as Rocky was, you could kind of see why they cast him. There really didn't seem to be a good reason for casting Lisi. Especially since she pretty much told Probst she didn't really care much about the game.

I like Rocky, he's entertaining but Lisi, she's damn annoying. Woman like her should've never made it on Survivor.

I'm not saying Fiji isn't terrible flawed. Haves vs Have nots was an assinine twist. At least they could let them compete for the good camp at every TC. Also, they put WAY too much emphasis on challenges and stratagy then what I'm cool with. But I liked Rocky and Lisi as characters. Morons at the game, probably in real life ? I think China is much better structerally. I would much rather have 16 people, no intial twist, minimal twists throughout the game,and emphasizing on the cast and also the location/local culture.That being said, Fiji had a better cast imo. I hope so too! Hopefully the casting will get better again after they did such a poor job casting the 'fans' this year. Regardless of how I think of the season though, the ratings are still excellent and will keep this show on the air for a long time.

On an individual basis, I don't think that any of the fans were necessarily casting mistakes. The main problem was the group dynamics within the Fans tribe. This was the first season that actually...

Chet, Mary & Alexis were a waste. I don't see what was so great about Mikey B. either. The best fan was Tracy, easily.

I think Chet and Alexis are the waste. Natalie's not a waste since I think she's an interesting player with an invi edit while Chet-- no need for explanation.

I think Mary is pretty decent, we just never know what she could bring because she left at the 2nd episode and I think Kathy made us all happy during her stay.
