I don't know exactly how I would react if my long lost father who has never been a part of my life suddenly appears in front of me.
More than not, I guess I would just stand there in shock and be speechless. :lol

I think it was more an instinctual reaction. They both know them as their dads and deep down there's a scared little kid who wants their father's love/approval/protection. Seeing them in these instances brought that out a bit.

I caught that too Wisc. I think it was odd that, in both instances, them using the endearing term Dad seemed out of character. Neither really knew their fathers well enough to call them Dad like they did & they had never called them that before. It was creepy.

OK. I posted this earlier in the wrong thread (yeah, I'm a dolt) ...

I rewatched this episode last night and caught something I missed the first time around.

When Claire woke up and saw Christian holding Aaron, the first thing she said was "Dad?" Interestingly, she said it exactly the same way Locke said it when he saw his old man tied up in Ben's dungeon.

Just finally caught up online. WTF was with Kate dressing like a whore the entire epi? I hated, I mean loathed her before, then dealt with her, now I am starting to hate her again.

And it looks like the entire army crew escaped the monster smoke thing. Except one. I was sure the creepy teeth guy wouldn't make it out alive, but he was just fine and dandy. ;)
